Alaska’s State COVID Counts Show Over 1,000% Increase Since Early December
While Alaska’s statewide data has not been updated from January 13, the ramp up to there was the steepest the state has seen since the virus arrived. On the epidemic curve, the weekly case count for January 7-13 was 12,912 compared to the week of Dec. 10-16 of 1,154. The count is projected to double in less than six days.
