Mowi Confirms ISA Detection at NL Salmon Site; Company Set to Harvest Fish in Two Cages
Mowi Canada East confirmed the detection of pathogenic Infectious Salmon Anaemia virus (ISAv) in Atlantic salmon at one of its farming sites in Newfoundland and Labrador on August 31.
The confirmation comes a month after the company announced that it suspected ISAv at its Little Burdock Cove (AQ#1083) marine site, as SeafoodNews reported.
